RIIVEH201 – Operate Light Vehicle

RIIVEH305 – Operate and Maintain a 4WD Vehicle

TLIC2025 – Operate 4WD Vehicle

Day 2

AURTGA001 – Drive and Manoeuvre Trailers

AHCBIO203 – Weed and Seed

Day 3

Either one of the following CoR units:

TLIF0009 – Chain of Responsibility (CoR) Level 1

TLIF0014 – Chain of Responsibility (CoR) Level 2

TLIF2010 – Fatigue Management

Investment: $1,500.00 AUD

Course Duration: Three (3) Full Days

Day 4 – Optional

TLID0015 – Load & Unload Goods and Cargo

TLIA1001 – Secure Cargo

Investment: $265.00 AUD pp

Four Day Course Total: 10 Units of Competency for $1,765.00 AUD

Pre-Requisites and Requirements:

  1. A Completed Course Enrollment Form
  2. A current and valid Drivers Licence (Open or Provisional Acceptable)
  3. A Blood Alcohol Level of 0%

AWCC provide Nationally Accredited Training and facilitate 4WD Operate Vehicles in the Field Training at your location or our, anywhere in Australia. AWCC welcome inquiries regarding onsite training at your location.

Training Locations:

Learning Outcomes:

  1.   Identify 4WD drive specific terms, terminology & techniques
  2.   Plan for minimal environmental impact
  3.   Perform pre and post departure checks
  4.   Journey Management
  5.   Convoy and Radio Communications
  6.   Use of four wheel drive technology covering the various modes
  7.   Use a tow strap to recover a vehicle
  8.   Perform maintenance and minor repairs on four wheel drive vehicle
  9.   Basic Towing information
  10.   Basic Survival techniques in remote areas

Learning Methods

The AWCC Driver Training Package utilises a mix of class room based theory and practical 4WD, Trailer Management and Vehicle Hygiene techniques. Our 3-4 day training program provides students with variety and ample practice that enhances successful practical assessment outcomes.
