Australian Well Control Centre delivers IWCF-accredited well control training across drilling and well intervention environments, supporting organisations across Australia and the APAC region.

Training is delivered weekly in Brisbane and Toowoomba, with online well control training launching in early 2026.
AWCC is the largest IWCF training provider in Australia, supported by an experienced instructional team and an active industry network. Our IWCF-accredited trainers continue to operate in the sector, with many currently serving as Operating Company Representatives (OCR), ensuring training reflects real operational practice and current regulatory expectations.
Over recent years, AWCC has expanded capability beyond traditional drilling programs, introducing Combined Surface and Subsea Well Control and launching Well Intervention Well Control, including elective pathways for Wireline, Coiled Tubing and Snubbing.
As part of its continued expansion, AWCC is investing in global online delivery of well control training, launching in early 2026.
This initiative is designed to support organisations operating across multiple regions by reducing travel, accommodation, downtime, and scheduling constraints, while maintaining IWCF-aligned competency standards.
